CNHA Member, the Homestead Housing Authority Delivers Micro-Enterprise Assistance Program on Kauai

The Micro-Enterprise Assistance Program (MEAP) 2016-2017 Cohort runs a total of 18 weeks of training, followed by access to loan capital and a business location to help families start their own businesses.  During weeks 9 & 10, MEAP participants went on field trips to visit the Governor’s office, State Tax office, DHHL, the Mayor’s office, the State Health Department, and County Housing and Economic Development offices!

On Thursday, February 9, the MEAP Cohort will be attending the Kauai Small Business Fair by the Kauai Chamber of Commerce.

The Micro Enterprise Assistance Program (MEAP) is delivered by HCDC and funded by the County of Kauai and HUD Community Development Block Grant program to support successful micro enterprise businesses by or ill employ low to moderate income persons on the island of Kauai.
