HHCA & HOAP Orientation Sessions – Sign Up now!
The Orientation Sessions are intended to provide participants with an introduction to HOAP and the homeownership process. These sessions will include an overview of the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act which guides the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands’ mission and policies, inform participants about the homestead application process, provide updates on DHHL’s development schedule statewide, include an overview of the homebuyer education and case management services that are available, and introduce them to local Providers in the state.

3-Day Proposal Development and 1-Day Refresher Workshops for the Administration for Native Americans Grant Programs
The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement is conducting free training workshops on applying for funding from the Administration for Native Americans (ANA), a program of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families. ANA is committed to funding social development, economic development, and language preservation projects that promote self-sufficiency in Native communities in the Pacific Region. Grants are flexible and range from $25,000 to $500,000.
3-Day Proposal Development Workshops will run from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm on the following dates:
American Samoa – March 2-4, Maliu Mai Beach Resort
Oahu – March 15-17, Honolulu Airport Hotel
1-Day Refresher Workshops will run from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm on the following dates:
Maui – Wednesday, March 2nd, Maui Beach Hotel
Kona – Thursday, March 10th, King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel
Hilo – Friday, March 11th, Hawaii Naniloa Hotel
