CNHA Kicks off the 2012 Tax Season with its Tell Your Ohana Campaign

eek of tax filing was very exciting with ten volunteers serving as greeters, interviewers, tax preparers and reviewers. This season, with the support of community partners, Hawaiian Community Assets and the Sovereign Councils of the Hawaiian Homelands Assembly, CNHA anticipates preparing and filing more than 150 tax returns!

Certified volunteers are equipped to assist any qualified Hawaii resident with filing their taxes and claiming any tax credits they qualify to recieve - such as the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child Tax Credit, which can credit up to $5,657 and $1,000 per child, respectively.
