Membership Benefits
CNHA Members are eligible for community
development technical assistance and training, access to information
impacting Native Hawaiian communities, and discounts to attend CNHA
events and trainings. As a member of CNHA, you will receive access to
the following services:
Hawaiian Way Fund

The Hawaiian Way Fund is a community
development fund for donors around the world to support the unique
indigenous culture of the Hawaiian Islands. It recognizes the
foundation cultures as the strength that is inherent in community
development solutions for Hawaii.
The HWF has a deliberate focus to benefit small, grassroots
organizations maintaining important cultural and community services
programs. To ensure the maximum impact of every gift, CNHA
administers the HWF with existing management staff and organizational
infrastructure. A minimum of 90 cents of every donor dollars is
committed toward community capacity building and Partner Recipient
Program.
For more information, please click here to visit the Hawaiian Way Fund website.
Huaka‘i “Excursion” Program
Throughout the year, different CNHA member
organizations will host excursions to provide opportunities to
fellowship and engage in activities that are energizing and
renewing. Each Huaka‘i is scheduled on a weekend day with
activities such as learning how to paddle a canoe, carve an ohe kapala,
or weave a lei.
If you are interested in hosting a
Huaka‘i event, please contact Auli‘i Hirahara, CNHA Project
Coordinator, at 808.521.5011, toll-free at 800.709.2642 or via
e-mail at info@hawaiiancouncil.org.
