The cultural activities that Ho‘oulu Lāhui offers are varied and center on the stabilization of the ancient village at Pu‘ala‘a. The village consists of archeological sites such as home sites, petroglyphs, walls, water wells, fishponds, and other important areas spread out through the property. Trails leading to these sites allow for educational tours of the ancient village. Related activities include the sharing of mo‘olelo (history), the planting of food crops and of native plants, the practicing of traditional arts, the preparation of a traditional Hawaiian imu, and the sharing of customary ways of caring for the land.
