As part of an ongoing dialogue about Kaka’ako, its layered history and continuous (re)transformations, this exhibition features installation work from two Kanaka Maoli artists in and among a reusable landscape. Kumu and haumāna share a desire to challenge the visibility and viability of an indigenous presence.
