Small Business Fundamentals for Native Entrepreneurs
Starting June 4, 2016 this four week course is comprised of 12 classes that will review, in-depth, the elements of starting a small business. With a special Native-focused curriculum, this workshop series covers the small business start-up process for folks with little to no experience. Whether already in business or looking to start a new one, this course will cover a range of business operating concepts from planning and marketing to accounting and risk management. After completing all classes and assigned work, participants will have drafted their own personal business plan.
Dates: June 7, 9, 14, 15, 21, 23, 28, and 30th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm and June 4, 11, 18, and 25th from 10am to 2pm.
Location: Prince Kuhio Community Center, 91-1270 Kinoiki Street in Kapolei, Hawaii
Registration Due: May 29, 2016
Cost: $60 (about $5 per class to cover curriculum materials)
Refreshments and lunch will be provided on Saturday classes.
