The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) advocates for public policies that promote Native Hawaiian self-determination through enhanced social, cultural, economic, political, and community development at all levels of government. To achieve this, the CNHA Advocacy Center will focus on empowering our members and the lāhui with access to policy.

The Annual Native Hawaiian Convention is the largest, most consequential gathering of Native Hawaiians to discuss issues of importance to the Lāhui.

CNHA is honored to have advocated at the legislature during this historic year, which yielded the following legislative successes for Native Hawaiians: HB2511 – $600 million to DHHL to pursue a multi-pronged approach to eliminating its waitlist. HB3041 – $335 million to settle the Kalima lawsuit…
