About CNHA

Our Mission

We uplift lāhui.

The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) is a member-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to enhance the cultural, economic, political, and community development of Native Hawaiians.

We provide access to capital, financial education and individualized financial counseling services with a focus on low and moderate-income families. CNHA serves as a National Intermediary, providing grants and loans targeting underserved communities in Hawaiʻi.

ʻAha ʻŌpio: Ulu Koa

Calling out to our young Aloha ʻĀina students!

Join us at the CNHA Annual Native Hawaiian Convention as we take you through a full day of understanding the framework of our culture. This is also an opportunity for teachers to participate and earn a stipend for your participation.

The ʻAha ʻŌpio occurs on the first day of convention, July 19 from 9:00am – 4:30pm (8:30am registration) and participants on this first day get full access to the entirety of the convention for free. Seats for students and teachers are limited

FAQs

Parking

Attendees will received reduced pricing for parking at the Sheraton Waikīkī Hotel with ticket validation at the registration table. Parking validation is valid for a maximum of 12 hours per day, one-time entry. Pricing is as follows:

  • $10 self-parking daily

  • $15 valet parking daily
