CNHA membership

By becoming a CNHA member, you get the opportunity to join other kānaka in lifting, empowering and inspiring our lāhui!  ʻAʻohe hana nui ke alu ʻia – No task is too big when done together by all.  As a growing member-based nonprofit, our goal is to connect our lāhui through partnerships, networking and collaborations in order to advance the Native Hawaiian community.  We hope you will consider coming alongside us in this journey in order to IMUA e ka lāhui!   

Member Levels

Kanaka (Supporting Individuals)

Membership period: Annually
Kanaka level is offered to any individual 18 years of age or older of good character and dedicated to the purposes of this organization

Hui Manawale’a (Non-profit)

Membership period: Annually
Hui Manawale’a level is offered to our Native Hawaiian not-for-profit organizations created to provide services primarily or exclusively for Native Hawaiians

Hui Kumuloa’a (For-profit)

Membership period: Annually
Hui Kumuloa’a level is offered to Corporations and/or For-profit Businesses majority owned by Native Hawaiian persons

Native Hawaiian Trusts

Membership period: Annually
This hui is for Trusts established to benefit exclusively or primarily Native Hawaiians

  • Fiscal Sponsorship (12% fee under $50,000, 10% fee above $50,000)

  • Event Coordination

  • Technical Assistance

  • Free or Reduced Fees to CNHA Workshops

  • Invitation to all CNHA Activities

  • Membership to the Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce

  • Exclusive Loan Opportunities

  • Convention Discounts

  • Use of CNHA Conference Space (based on availability)

  • Opportunity to Serve on CNHA Board of Directors

  • Hawaiian Way Fund Listing – Donor Program
